IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph A milestone from Schaffhausen (Kurt Klaus era) The Ref. 3750 is far more than just a timepiece; it is regarded as the horological milestone that ushered in the renaissance of mechanical complications at the International Watch Company (IWC) in the mid-1980s. The striking 18k yellow gold case with the characteristic movable lugs ensures excellent wearing comfort, even on narrower wrists. Connoisseurs appreciate the domed Plexiglas, which gives the dial a warm, vintage look that is often lost in modern sapphire crystal versions. The calendar module and operation The legendary automatic caliber is at work inside 79261. The ingenious design by chief watchmaker Kurt Klaus enables all the displays of the Perpetual calendar (date, day of the week, month, moon phase and the four-digit year) can be adjusted synchronously and exclusively via the crown - a first in watch history that revolutionized usability. The calendar function is complemented by a fully-fledged chronograph. The moon phase display at 12 o'clock is extremely precise and only deviates by one day in 122 years. A piece of Swiss watch history that combines technical complexity and intuitive handling in a 39 mm case. All photos show exactly the article we offer - no stock images!
