Design code: CUL/R1-gold Our Cuillin Ridge ‘Skye from the Sea’ ring features a snapshot of the Cuillin mountain range. The mountain design is continuous all the way around this chunky ring and the band measures 6mm in width. (This width is considered to be the standard option of this design). This design is made exclusively by Love from Skye on the Isle of Skye. This option is the gold version of our original silver design. The ‘main body’ of the ring & the mountains are made from 9ct white gold and the sky section is made from 9ct rose gold, creating a rosey sky or a sunset!! This design is avaiable in 3 different finish options – not quite as many options as our silver or mixed metal options due to gold not oxidising. (If you like the darkened effect which oxidising creates on our silver Cuillin rings, just get in touch to discuss the possibility of plating our gold Cuillin designs with a black metal to create a similar look.) Options 1, 3 & 5 on our ‘Cuillin diagram’ are not available to order in our gold Cuillin rings without prior discussion. Option 2 is a textured / hammered effect which can rub smooth with excessive wear but is a practical option for everyday wear. Options 3 & 5 are the most suitable finishes for regular wear. Option 3 is polished while option 6 is finished with a matte effect. The silver in the ridge is left in a raw state. If you’re planning to wear this design with another ring then please let us know before ordering as this design works best on it’s own due to it’s depth.
