I had a toilet tank crack and rather than replace the whole unit, I went to my local hardware store and they had a replacement tank. It wasn’t the same model but the holes were “almost” the same distance apart. I tried some cheap hardware that came with the tank but that leaked. I bought these as they had the tapered rubber washer… they worked PERFECT!!!.. Although just slightly off-center holes, the tapered rubber slipped into the tank hole and sealed it. Saved me a lot of time, money and trouble in otherwise having the whole toilet replaced!!!!I replaced the tank months ago and used these bolts. Still no leaks. Even if I have to replace the internals of a tank that is the exact fit, I will always use these bolts with the beveled rubber washers again… they eliminate leaks and they eliminate the more problematic issue of over-tightening bolts to eliminate leaks.Worth the money to do the job right the first time.
